LightNav

LightNav has been a pet project of mine for a little while. I built a project similar to this a while ago while working in Rhode Island, so I guess you could call this version 2.0. But since starting the project over completely and changing the name I have decided to simply relaunch. The idea of this style navigation is not necessarily original, but what I have done is packaged it and made it very simple for anyone to use in their own projects. Considering I am using the project on this site, I felt it fitting to post here so you can see exactly what I am doing.

I have a lot of plans for LightNav but at this point its functionality is quite basic. The next step will be to include and option where the user can choose a breakpoint where the navigation will activate. This way the user can use their normal navigation on a computer, but still have access to a beautiful and easy to use mobile navigation.

LightNav is free to use, modify, and distribute as you please as it is distributed under the MIT License. Full documentation can be found at lightnav.io as well as on github.
