About Me
I eat, sleep, breathe… and WordPress.
I work a full time job as a Senior Front End Developer, freelance with various agencies as a white label developer, take on my own clients, and experiment with my own side projects (when I have time). Living in Charlotte, North Carolina I’m right in the middle of a few major WordPress communities. I’ve been fortunate enough to go to WordCamps in Raleigh, Greenville, Asheville, and Nashville in recent years, and I’m looking forward to my second WordCamp US in St. Louis this year. In addition to all that I had the opportunity to speak about WordPress Site Speed at our local Charlotte Meetup group and Building Gutenberg Blocks at Greenville’s Meetup.
By working with different agencies I’ve had the opportunity to expand my skills in areas I might not have gotten in my day job or with other clients. Variety and challenging work are what keeps me going. For that reason I find myself seeking out interesting jobs, working on my own ideas, and buying domain names such as customcarprints.com and zeroemissionfreight.com. At the moment I am particularly interested in how podcasts are changing the way we consume media. I think theres a huge opportunity there and a majority of my side projects are focused around the podcast industry.
I love talking shop and I’m always looking to be a part of the next big idea. If you think we’d be a good fit, reach out. I’d love to hear from you!
